Meet Maura Shaftoe QAFP, CCS
After a successful career in the automotive sector, tackling everything from managing a service department to selling and leasing cars, and being a sales manager and sales trainer, Maura shifted her focus and moved into the world of finance. Watching people juggling huge car payments while struggling with debt was a strong motivator,
Starting out, she built tailored insurance solutions for individuals, families and business owners. Helping them understand and then manage their risk was an approach that worked. Moving from there into financial planning was a logical step. The world of money opened up for Maura when she discovered behavioural finance and became Certified as a Behavioural Cash Flow Specialist.
Maura understands that we have behaviours, beliefs and biases that affect our money decisions. On top of that, we all have Money Stories that we have grown up with that also impact our money relationships. Getting conversations about money into the open is a life goal for Maura. Providing access to knowledge and awareness is key to her message. Guiding people through the process of re-framing their money relationship is rewarding and can help people transform their lives.
Maura delivers her values-based coaching methodology through private coaching, small group coaching and designed on-demand private workshops. She combines mindset work with the practical and tactical strategies to provide complete support.
Maura is passionate about the human spirit and equally passionate about helping people, so people find the balance between living their life today and designing the future they want.
